This is a great testimonial how Shaklee's Alfalfa Complex helped a man overcome his hay fever. Check out a link directly to the product at: http://mjshealthyway.myshaklee.com/us/en/products.php?sku=20153
John, my husband, came in Saturday after mowing the lawn for the first time and stated emphatically, “I need to increase my Alfalfa”. He wasn’t talking about the lawn. His nose was dripping like a faucet and his eyes were red and watery. The hay fever season has officially started for John. To really appreciate his statement, you need to understand a little history. John stands 6’7″ in height. Before I came into the picture, his favorite meal was meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy and canned peas. He traveled a great deal in his job and had red meat for dinner almost every night. The words “food supplement” or “vitamin” were not in his dictionary. He suffered with hay fever all summer long and had a medicine chest full of over-the-counter, well-advertised hay fever drugs. Then we were introduced to Shaklee’s food supplements that are as close to nature as possible. We both felt a dramatic increase in energy by taking Vita Lea and Energizing Soy Protein twice a day.
I read that Shaklee Alfalfa is good for hay fever and I started giving John 10 tablets in the morning and 10 in the evening in addition to his other supplements and his hay fever symptoms gradually went away. In the wintertime he cuts down to 5 and 5 tablets. Our lawyer neighbor also suffered with hay fever. When he took over-the-counter drugs for relief of symptoms he would find himself becoming drowsy in court. John told him, “You need Alfalfa!” Now our neighbor doesn’t even count the tablets he takes. He just pours out a small handful every morning and evening and has no hay fever symptoms. Shaklee’s Alfalfa is grown without fungicides, bacteriocides, synthetic hormones, growth regulators, or chemicals. By harvest time the leaves are filled with trace minerals and large amounts of chlorophyll. The cost is only 3 ½ cents per tablet.Chlorophyll, the pigment that makes plants green, is very healing. In addition, Alfalfa contains enzymes and a natural anti-inflammatory substance.. Alfalfa is not short-term relief, but rather takes time to build results. You may see some improvement in as little as a week, but that improvement will become stronger and stronger over the course of a couple of months or more of regular use. In the process, you may notice that some “aches and pains” go away, and you fight off viruses better, as these are other frequent benefits of Alfalfa. Shelley Keast, in her NATURAL WOMAN newsletter (Volume 10 No. 4) has an excellent article about the allergy season. She says it is important to get a head start on natural preventive measures. The goal is to build up the immune system, reduce production of the body’s pro-inflammatory substances, and provide additional short-term relief when hay fever starts to occur. Relief of symptoms with natural food supplements is so preferable to hay fever drugs with side effects.
