My Shaklee 180 Weight Loss Program Is Going Strong!






After a year and a half, I have been able to hold and maintain a target weight between 175-173 pounds.  I started my weight lose program at 209 pounds in 2011and felt sluggish with low energy at the time. I wanted to make a change and I believe these 3 factors where life changing for me.

Shaklee has came up with an awesome program to follow using a system to help keep you in check and track you daily calorie intake. The system is awesome and easy to follow. Unlike other weight loss programs claiming to drop 5-10 pounds a week, Shaklee 180 helps you lose 1-2 pounds a week while keeping your lean muscle. All the ingredients are natural with no preservatives and I love the fact they use non-GMO soy products in the smoothies. And the great thing is, Shaklee 180 is clinically proven to work! How great is that?

I drink an awesome Shaklee 180 smoothie(24g of protein) for breakfast ofter mixing in organic frozen fruit in with it and always have my morning organic banana. Lunch I usually have a small snack with a Shaklee 180 Lemon Cranberry snack bar with some peanuts, apple, or one serving of baked crackers. Dinner consists of trying to have a salad every other day.

Portioning and Tracking Calories

I found out the best way to keep your calorie count down is to portion of meals. If we all actually ate the recommended portion on the box or product we are consuming, America would not have this ongoing obesity problem. Studies do show if you track your calories and or do it with another individual, the success rate of losing weight is much higher. There are many apps out there for smart phones, and I use the Shaklee 180 app to track my daily calorie count.

Find a Regular Exercise Routine

I would not have been able to lose my weight if it wasn't for consistent exercise. Find an exercise routine that works for you. Track your progress and take measurements. I highly recommend Tony Horton's P90x or his 10 Minute Trainer(for busy people like me!) The more active you are, the more likely you are able to keep of the weight and maintain it.

It all sounds easy, but dedication is the key. It will be rough at first, but the journey is the reward, and people will see a change in you. Don't be modest when someone says, "wow, you're looking good! What have you been doing?" Tell them "Dedication of course!" :)
